To everyone's surprise, Jibri introduced Miona as his fiancée, and explained that she'd be traveling in from Ni to Rapid City to spend time with them. Jibri ran into financial difficulties as a result of the visa application and the several journeys throughout the world that he and Miona took. She returned to her hometown after a brief sojourn in California.

Her desire to get married on the beach meant that Jibri realized she couldn't live like a Kardashian in his small town. It was only a matter of six to 12 months before they could return to Los Angeles, so the makeup artist Miona didn't want to live in South Dakota like a 50-year-old. "When you tell me about getting married there, that sounds even worse than living in South Dakota because getting married is the one time in life and I really want it to be extremely spectacular," she said to him in episode 1.

According to an online report, Jibri Bell and Miona, the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 couple, have been married since before 2020. Jibri, the frontman of South Dakota's Black Serbs, was on tour in Serbia two and a half years ago when he spotted Miona in the audience. Jibri did not want to be in a relationship after being single for three months.

However, he admitted on the show that he fell for the "small sexy fireball" Miona and got butterflies in his stomach. Miona, 23, and Jibri, 28, got engaged in Thailand and apparently spent nearly two years apart during the COVID-19 pandemic before reuniting on the reality show.

Jibri introduced Miona as his fiance, who will be flying in from Ni to Rapid City to stay with him and his parents. Jibri was in financial trouble because he spent money on the visa application and all of the trips he took with Miona all over the world. After spending time in Los Angeles, the singer returned home. Jibri knew Miona wouldn't be able to live like a Kardashian in his small town because she stated that she wanted a beach wedding.

Jibri Miona Wife married Serbia In 90 Day Fiance 2

Miona, a makeup artist, didn't want to live like a 50-year-old in South Dakota, while Jibri wanted her to compromise because it was only a matter of six to twelve months until they could return to L.A. During episode 1, she was overheard telling him, "When you tell me about getting married there, that sounds even worse than living in South Dakota because getting married is the one time in life that I really want to be really special."

Fans are now perplexed about Jibri and Miona's relationship timeline and wonder if the couple married before 2020. TLC viewers are accustomed to certain situations being exaggerated for dramatic effect in 90 Day Fiancé storylines, but Jibri and Miona are not.

Jibri, on the other hand, is already defending himself, according to a screenshot posted by Reddit user u/losermachine95. He's blaming the article for distorting his words, despite the fact that he can be seen in the video calling Miona his "wife" in English.

"In Serbian, I always say zena, which they interpreted as wife in the interview, but I was saying girlfriend," Jibri explained to a fan. Jibri claims that Serbian news articles "always" take his "poor Serbian" and translate it in such a way that it "comes out sooo different."

Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween , another 90 Day Fiancé couple , have had a nikah. This is a religious ceremony for a Muslim couple in which they are legally married under Islamic law prior to Shaeeda's arrival in the United States. Jibri and Miona may have married in Serbia but must have the marriage registered in the United States.

What's perplexing is Jibri's claim that he's brought his grandmother and cousins to Serbia, but his mother doesn't know Miona and is concerned about how she'll fit in at their South Dakota home. In any case, 90 Day Fiancé season 9 is only one episode into its 2022 season. If TLC decides to reveal the answers to these riddles, fans may get them.
