‘The Family Chantel’ Which Couples Are Still Together? Chantel, Pedro, And More

The Family Chantel Despite the drama, many couples have managed to remain together, but some have broken up under the strain of constant fighting.
Since 90 Day Fiance season 4, fans have seen the Jimeno family and Everett family at odds. The feud between the Jimeno and Everett families was so intense, that it inspired a spin-off called The Family Chantel.
Most couples have remained together despite the drama. However, some have split up because of the constant fighting.
Chantel Jimeno, nee Everett, made her debut on reality television at 25 years old. In 2014, she said: “I wanted to learn Spanish and a friend had introduced me [to Pedro] Jimeno.” Chantel stated that she was “attracted” to the Dominican Republic native after viewing photos.
The couple began long-distance dating after Chantel visited Pedro’s home country on her first visit. Chantel said that “he proposed on the third visit,” adding that he “treated her like a princess.”
Chantel stated, “I want to live in the United States with my fiancée. The K-1 visa was the fastest and best option.” This visa allows a foreigner’s fiancee who is an American citizen to enter the country legally if the couple marries within 90 days after the foreigner arrives.
Chantel kept her parents Thomas Everett & Karen Everett in the dark regarding her and Pedro’s plan. Her parents didn’t know they were filming a show entitled 90 Day Fiance.
She confessed, “My parents know that Pedro and I will live together but are not aware that we are engaged.” They believe Pedro is on a K-1 Visa, and not a Student Visa, since the K-1 allows 90 days for marriage. “My parents would be horrified if they discovered that Pedro was on a fiancee visa.”
When her parents learned of Chantel and Pedro’s wedding plans, they were shocked. “Pedro is not on a Student Visa.” He’s here on a K-1 visa. She explained that the K-1 visa was a fiancee visa and they were getting married Thursday.
Chantel was unsure if her family would attend her wedding. But they agreed to come, including Winter Everett’s sister and River Everett’s brother. However, they only agreed to do so if Chantel signed a prenuptial agreement before she married Pedro.

THOMAS AND KAREN
Thomas Everett and Karen Everett were married on March 6, 1992, in Georgia. Thomas and Karen Everett had four children during their marriage.
The couple is still together, and they have shared their secret for a successful marriage.
- Thomas confessed, “We have been married for 37 years and our love is still hot,” in an episode of The Family Chantel that aired on August 20, 2022.
Karen showed how they maintain the flame. “We have date nights every week!” She said.
JAH AND WINTER
Winter was a major character in Chantel’s 90-Day Fiance storyline, but audiences got to know more about him during season one of The Family Chantel. Winter and Jah had been dating on and off over the past seven years. But his sister Chantel and mother Karen wanted to know more about Winter, so they hired an investigator to investigate his background.
Surprisingly, the investigation revealed that Jah had a second child with Winter, but had not told Winter. Winter and Jah reconciled after the sour period.
Winter and Jah made the next step of their relationship and got married in Season 3 The Family Chantel. Jah, as part of his religious beliefs, recommended to Winter a change in lifestyle shortly after they got engaged. This led to their split.
“He asked me a question. How would you feel if it was your daughter in a polygamous marriage? He said. Winter told her family who were shocked. “Why do you ask me this?” I questioned him.”
Do you want to have a relationship that is polygamous? He said, “No.” At that point, I was a bit tired and bored with listening. He said: “Well, you are not bound! You can leave at any time! “He repeated it, and I responded simply, “OK.”
PEDRO AND CHANTEL
The Family Chantel’s fourth season saw the relationship between Chantel and Pedro at its lowest point. Chantel said that the marital issues began after they returned from their Dominican Republic trip, which led to a quarrel between Chantel’s sister Winter, and mom Karen as well as Pedro’s mother and sisters Lidia and Nicole.
Chantel, who had just completed nursing school, was now working in the area where she had studied. The couple had also recently purchased their first house, while Pedro began a new job in real estate.
The couple was supposed to have a fun time together, but it seemed to be the beginning of their divorce as they fought over communication issues.
Pedro said that Chantel did not support him or his ambitions because he spent too much time on his career.
Unfortunately, the couple’s marital issues had come to a dead-end. In Touch obtained records that show Pedro filed for divorce in 2022.
MEGAN AND THE RIVER
River’s plot in season 3 of The Family Chantel focused more on his love life. He had met Megan Montenegro, who he was so enamored of that he wanted her to be introduced to his sister Chantel and mother Karen.
Karen and Chantel are worried about River’s relationship with Megan due to their five-year difference in age and Megan being a single mom.
These events unfortunately contributed to Megan’s and River’s divorce. Megan cut off her relationship with River, believing that she was no longer at a point in her life when she could commit to a romantic partnership.
ALEJANDRO AND NICOLE
Nicole played a significant role in 90 Day Fiance as well as The Family Chantel. She and her mother were often seen competing against Pedro’s spouse, Chantel. Nicole was single for several seasons before introducing her long-distance partner, Alejandro Padron, in season 2.
Alejandro is Dominican-born but has moved to New York City. The couple first met at a party in 2009 with mutual friends. They reunited via Instagram and started dating in 2019.
Lidia, Nicole’s mom, was initially not a fan of Alejandro, believing that he wasn’t good enough for Nicole. Lidia’s dislike of Alejandro grew when she learned that he had divorced his first wife but was still legally married to her.
Nicole and Alejandro continued dating despite the turmoil, but their romance was stymied when Nicole found out Alejandro had been texting other ladies on social media. Alejandro agreed to talk with other women but claimed that the interactions were not inappropriate. In 2021, the turmoil led to a temporary separation between the two.
Alejandro made plans to go back to the Dominican Republic to win Nicole’s heart, and finally, she agreed to rekindle their relationship. Nicole fell pregnant during the trip but tragically miscarried a few months later.
Alejandro flew from the Dominican Republic, where he was able to comfort Nicole after the loss of Nicole’s pregnancy. He also brought documentation proving that his divorce was finalized.
Nicole was happy that her mother finally accepted him. They returned to their apartment to share the good news, but Lidia’s opinion of Alejandro had not changed.
The relationship status of Nicole and Alejandro is not known because they do not share pictures on social media. As of August 17, 2022, they continue to follow one another on Instagram.
ROYAL AND ANGENETTE
Royal’s reality television debut was in The Family Chantel, third season. Chantel’s brother, who had studied in Texas for many years, recently returned to Georgia.
Royal and his wife Angenette joined the show after returning to their native state. The couple had recently married just a few short months prior to shooting.
Royal and Angenette’s love story is similar to Chantel and Pedro. Angenette and Royal were long-distance lovers because Angenette was from Cagayan Valley in the Philippines.
Royal and Angenette, after their courthouse ceremony in the United States, documented their second wedding and celebrations in Angenette’s homeland. Drama ensued when Royal’s parents questioned Angenette about her motives. They believed she was only marrying Royal for a green card.
It appears, however, that everything has been resolved. Royal and Angenette welcomed their first son, a boy, in December of 2021. Their family has grown since then.
