Mahogany’s Instagram Photos Raise a Lot of Questions | 90 day fiance

Mahogany Roca has not yet explained why she looks so different in the Instagram photos. Season 5 of 90-Day Fiance: Before 90 Days ends in one week.

Mahogany Rathbun’s Instagram photos still make her look like a catfish despite her claims that Ben Rathbun lies to her. Ben Rathbun, 52, debuted 90 Day Fiance Before the 90 Days, season 5, and all signs pointed to Mahogany as not being real. 

She appeared to be a con artist who was duping the pastor. Ben claimed that Mahogany spoke little English despite her being 22 years old and speaking the language fluently. Mahogany’s appearance on television and social media is different, so to her admirers, she looks “fake.”

Ben and Mahogany had been involved in a long-distance relationship for three months prior to Ben’s trip to Peru. Ben and Mahogany were so in love that Ben was prepared to make her his wife. Ben explained to his friends that Mahogany was shy. They had never spoken on video chats before. 

Ben said that Mahogany had the best camera when his children claimed she was the one with the most fake images they had ever seen. Ben admitted to Mahogany she had manipulated her photos when they first met. He was OK with giving their relationship a chance.

Fans found Mahogany’s Instagram and noticed a large discrepancy between the persona she portrays on Instagram and her real life. Mahogany was accused of being a scam artist in many comments left on her images. 

Others claimed that she was not the real Mahogany but an actress hired by 90 Day Fiance who stood in for the person Ben spoke with when he didn’t arrive. Mahogany is the real deal, but she prefers to use filters to hide her identity online.

Mahogany has just deleted her Instagram account. Mahogany has not given an explanation for her sudden reappearance but she did save most of her previous images in which she had changed her entire look. Mahogany poses on her bed for a photo taken in December 2021. 

Mahogany is praised in the comments by admirers who call her “Gorgeous Hottie”, “Hermosa” and other such terms. Mahogany on the other had clearly altered her picture with a photo editing program. She appears to have reshaped and smoothed her face, giving it a rosy tint.

Mahogany’s recent post, dated March 28, features a new hairstyle and an entirely different facial appearance. Mahogany is a Peruvian student of law who has airbrushed her face to achieve a flawless complexion. She also sharpened her jawline and adjusted her skin tone. 

Mahogany could have used a slimming device or simply improved her angles. Jessception, a Reddit user who reposted the image, speculated that Mahogany might have used “Beauty Plus” or SNOW applications which perform such editing automatically.

Season 5 teaser of 90 Day Fiance Before the 90 Days included several of Mahogany’s filtered photos. 

After seeing the photos of Mahogany, 90 Day Fiance fans on YouTube decided that Ben’s plot would have a catfish element.  The photos on Mahogany’s Instagram look like her but the teaser for 90 Day Fiance is nothing like that. 

Ben has attempted to justify Mahogany’s use of filters, but she still hasn’t explained why she lied on the show about her age, appearance, and whereabouts. Ben claims that Mahogany is a creative person who enjoys altering pictures.
