Matt Roloff, Little People, Big World star, recently shared that he had lost his father in a heartfelt social media post. Matt Roloff broke the sad news to Little People, Big World’s fans on Monday that his father passed away.
The Roloffs have had a difficult season as they try to navigate their feuds. Matt’s parents usually make an appearance but were not present this season.
Roloff’s family is a TLC favorite for its wholesome values and dynamic family. TLC’s show has been airing for more than 23 years, and the fans are still not tired of their farm shenanigans or family struggles.
After years of watching their relationship deteriorate, Matt and Amy Roloff have now separated. The four children of the Roloffs have all married and left the farm. Even though the arguments have increased, the grandparents of the Roloff family are still a constant.
Matt shared the sad news of his father’s death on Instagram. Ronald Roloff died at the age of 84, but according to his son, he lived a full life. He was called Papa by the ten Roloff kids and passed peacefully while sleeping.
Ronald was married for 63 years to his wife. Matt told Little People, Big World viewers that he and his mother were by his father’s side.
Viewers of Little People, Big World will remember that Matt revealed in July 2021 that his father, Ronald, was suffering from chronic lymphocytic Leukemia. Matt also noted that Ronald had to undergo chemo.
Matt’s mom was also injured by a fall, while Ronald battled blood cancer. Ronald received weekly chemotreatment, and his statistics improved. Matt didn’t reveal whether Ronald died as a consequence of his cancer fight after Ronald’s passing.
Recent events have been a setback for the Roloff family. Amy accused her ex-husband that he was going crazy after pricing out their two sons from the farm, Little People, Big World viewers watched the season’s finale.
Matt, Zach, and Jeremy were all agitated by the extreme price markup of their property. They wanted a share. Matt is now forced to plan the funeral of his father because negotiations are on hold.
