Kim Menzies, star of 90 Day Fiance revealed to her fans new details about her military background on Instagram. Kim Menzies, 50, made waves on reality television with 90 Day Fiance: before the 90 Days Season 5 as Usman Umar’s “Sojaboy”.
Kim, 50, and Usman (32), had met online after Usman became a fan. Usman and Kim began as friends. Usman had previously been married to his ex-wife Lisa Hamme. Kim was seen as a “potential girlfriend” by Usman. Kim has won hearts as a Pillow Talk Cast member, along with Jamal Menzies.
Kim Menzies, 90 Day Fiance alumnus, is not the only franchise alum with an interesting past. Kim Menzies, a San Diego native who has appeared on 90 Day Fiance several times, took to Instagram to reveal more about her military service.
Kim held a Q&A with her Instagram fans, where she was asked: “What trade did you have in the military?” Kim replied with a “Let’s go Army!” sticker. She informed the curious follower of her service in the Army. Kim added, “I also worked as a 71L administrative assistant.”
Why did Kim, 90 Day Fiance star, quit her Army job?
Kim revealed to people who asked about her service that she had been in the Army between 1989 and 1996. Kim, 90 Day Fiance’s star, served in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm from August 1990 to July 1991.
Operation Desert Storm marked the United States’ first major crisis abroad after the Cold War. Kim had just turned 19 when she began her military career. Kim left the army when Jamal was born. Kim said that they wanted him to go on an unaccompanied overseas tour, but he couldn’t.
Kim was discharged from the military on an honorable basis. Kim and Usman both shared a military background. Usman, 90 Day Fiance’s star, uses the stage name Sojaboy to refer to “soldier.
” Usman’s stage name, Sojaboy, is a result of his two brothers being in the military. Usman says that in his native language, soldiers are called “Soja”.
Kim is also suffering from a chronic illness due to her demanding work. Kim was an Airborne in the Army and jumped from planes a lot. Kim has a limp because of this.
Kim was born dislocated hip. She dislocated her hip once again after jumping from planes. Kim also has arthritis in her hips. Kim’s condition is worsening with age and her knees are becoming more bent inwards.
She may even consider surgery in the near future. Kim, 90 Day Fiance’s personality, doesn’t allow her pain to interfere with her positive personality on television. Kim’s relationship ended in a breakup, but she has developed a special bond with her fans. This is rare and attractive.
