According to insiders close to the pair, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have split up and chosen to remain friends.
As per sources, while the couple had "a lot of love and respect for one other," the long distance dynamic and their busy schedules "makes it incredibly tough to continue a relationship." The breakup happened this week.
Where Pete Davidson Spend Summer after Kim Kardashian Break Up
Pete spent part of the summer in Australia working on the film Wizards! Kim is still raising four children with her ex-husband Kanye West: North, Psalm, Chicago, and Saint.
"The divorce is moving ahead with Kanye," another insider shares with E! News. "They are happily co-parenting."
A source verified to E! News in November that Pete and Kim were dating. The insider claimed at the time that both sides were excited to see where it went. "Pete has informed her he doesn't want to see anybody else," according to the insider.
"She tells some people that they aren't serious, but she isn't seeing anybody else... She's trying not to make a big deal out of it, but she's madly in love with him."
Kim presented Saturday Night Live
When Kim presented Saturday Night Live in October, the two first kissed, and their romance blossomed in the months that followed.
"It was a stage kiss, but it still had a little zing," Kim recalled in April on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.il. "It wasn't anything like a super, crazy feeling."
"A few days later, I was like, 'Hmm, there's some BDE activity," she explained, before recalling Pete's absence from her SNL after-party. "Later on, I considered it. 'Damn, he's the only one who didn't show up,' I thought."
He went on to bond with her children and even made a brief appearance on her Hulu show The Kardashians after they made their relationship public. According to a teaser, Pete is likely to feature in the second season, which will premiere this autumn.

From tattoo tributes to a joint appearance at the Met Gala, the couple didn't hold back on showing some PDA over the past nine months. Sister Khloe Kardashian went so far as to say that Kim was in "LOOOOOVVVEEEE" with the comedian back in June.
What Next for Pete Davidson after Kim Kardashian Break Up
Pete made it clear last month that he wants to settle down one day, saying on Hart to Hart that having kids is "my dream." He shared, "That's kind of what I'm just preparing for now, is trying to be as good as a dude and develop and get better, so when that happens, it's just easier."
A source recently told E! News that the pair was attempting to make long-distance work while Pete was filming in Australia. "They are always communicating even while they are away," a source added. "Kim adores the fact that he is constantly making her laugh, and he definitely brightens her day when they chat."
Those discussions may now be resolved, since the Kete period is officially gone.
