Alumni of "90 Day Fiance" In the midst of a custody fight for her kids Pierre and Ethan, Karine Staehle has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for legal representation.
The 26-year-old mother of two explained why she was holding a fundraiser on Instagram Stories on November 4: "My two Brazilian children were removed from me by American CPS because me and my husband argued in front of our children [sic]." They're not giving me a chance to get my kids back.
A commenter said :"Yes mommy I was a mom who lost her kids to CPS due to a relationship I was n that directly affected my parenting. Full transparency here I lost them for 3 years....no contact at all no visitation. My 15 year old daughter got pregnant by the foster mother's natural son. I did everything required of me to get my girls home.......nothing helped...don't give up. I now have 12 grands by these 3 amazing woman. Things work out as they should just don't ever give up.... One tip I can give u. Go to the embassy and prove ur indigenous lineage. We have laws in the state to protect those children from the white order(gov)."
The children of the Brazilian woman and her ex-husband, Paul Staehle, are apparently in the care of Child Protective Services. Pierre, 3, and Ethan, 20 months, are the couple's boys.
Reality TV star TLC star said she has been "completely cooperative" with CPS for over a year, yet she still only gets 1-2 hours of supervised time with her kids each week.
The South American local said, "it seems because I am Brazilian." My kids' passports were taken away, and they were told explicitly that they are not allowed to go back to the country where they were born, Brazil. Help me find an attorney, please.

That very same day, 39-year-old Paul acknowledged that he and Karine were cooperating as "a team" in the custody case.
Friendship between Karine and I goes back a long way. The father of two said in a video interview with 90 Day Fiancé blogger John Yates, "We chat regularly, we're good." I suggested to Karine that they contact the Brazilian embassy.
The former 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days contestant also said in the same interview that he won't be allowed to visit his boys again until they turn 18.
What they asked me to do, I did... Paul went on to explain why he had been issued a "18-year ban," adding, "and they won't withdraw the order." I let Karine meet the kids... Karine was only allowed to visit the children under under supervision, as per the injunction. I broke the law by allowing Karine unsupervised access to the children.
It was on June 8 that the public learned of the heated custody struggle between the 90 Day Fiancé couple, which began when the elder boy went missing and was later found to be with his father. Paul first dropped hints about the impending custody fight on July 1.
Using Instagram Stories, he argued that grandparents and other relatives should be granted interim custody of children in the event that both parents are removed from the picture. It's terrible that grandparents are being cut off from their grandchildren just like biological parents.
The Louisville Metro Police Department reported to In Touch on July 2 that the youngster had been "found and safe" and that the missing person file had been closed as of that day.
According to a different source who spoke with In Hot Seat Interview , Paul did indeed leave off Pierre with his mum in a local park, where Pierre's belongings were also left. Earlier, Ethan had been brought into CPS care, and he remains there to this day.
It was in the first season of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days that the world was introduced to Paul and Karine. The prequel followed the resident of Louisville, Kentucky, as he journeyed to an isolated area of the Amazon to finally meet the brunette beauty he had been fantasizing about. They got married in November of 2019 and their wedding was shown in a season 2 episode, despite her family's misgivings about the relationship because of his criminal record.
