It was reported that Scottie’s sentence would be at least two and a half years. So, it is possible her early release could have been due to overcrowding.

It’s possible that some viewers learned of her release when she deleted a Black Lives Matter photo she had posted on Instagram. However, this could have been a coincidence.

Scottie had been indicted in September 2018, for one count of sexual exploitation, One count of aggravated, and eleven counts of child abuse, stemming from an altercation in 2017 with a boy. Scottie was added to the Georgia sexual offender registry, but he was removed from parole in 2021.
