90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 finale , viewers never saw Johnny visit Ella Johnson in the United States, and it appears that the big meeting has yet to take place.
Ella famously blamed her cheating on the COVID-19 pandemic, and her being distant from Johnny. Despite his promises at the Before the 90 Days season 5 Tell-All, Johnny does not appear to have met Ella in person.
Ella was enraged and heartbroken when Johnny told her that he couldn't leave China in time to join her on her Idaho ranch, as they had planned. Johnny explained to Ella that he couldn't risk contracting COVID-19 in a foreign country because he is responsible for his young son and his elderly parents.
Ella demanded Johnny risk his health for her, despite her lack of understanding or sympathy. Ella cheated on Johnny with a friend when he didn't fly out of China on time. Johnny controversially accepted responsibility for her cheating and vowed at the January Tell-All that he would visit Ella in February no matter what. Johnny, on the other hand, does not appear to have kept his promise.
It has now been two months since Johnny promised to visit Ella, it is clear that he has yet to fly to the United States. Johnny explained his reasoning on his Instagram, @johnny_90days, where he explained the numerous reasons why he couldn't meet Ella.
Johnny's March 14 post detailed some of the reasons why he has yet to see his girlfriend. "I struggled to fly out because China is still under lockdown, and the travel ban means that you can fly out but only have a few flights back to China," the Before The 90 Days star explained.
He also stated that there are no flights in June or July, and the three flights in August cost more than $10,000. As a result, the ongoing pandemic, health concerns, restrictions in China, difficulty flying back into his country, and cost concerns are all preventing Johnny from being with Ella in Idaho.
But while Ella stated at the Before the 90 Days Tell-All that she and Johnny were the most secure couple on the show, many viewers disagree with her assessment. Ella has made it clear that touch is extremely important to her and that if Johnny is unable to be with her in person, she will seek it elsewhere.
Ella has been pushing for an open relationship with Johnny, despite the fact that the China native has stated that it is both against his culture and personal preferences.

"_I just wanted to let you know that I still believe in you and love you. It was my fault that I kept delaying, and I will accept 90 percent responsibility for what happened _" In his March 15 post, Johnny wrote to Ella. Johnny appears to have acknowledged responsibility for Ella's cheating and continues to want to be with her.
Despite Johnny's failure to keep his promise, Ella and Johnny appear to be still together in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Ella has stated numerous times that she adores Johnny and refers to him as her "Asian Prince," despite viewers' concerns that she is fetishizing his race.
Meanwhile, Ella confirmed that she and Johnny's involvement in the extended franchise is not over. Ella and Johnny will appear on 90 Day Diaries, where they will most likely prolong the drama surrounding their inability to meet. Many fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days hope that Johnny will find a woman who values and respects him more than Ella does.
