1. Victoria and Sean

Victoria, 33 years old, from Wolverhampton is obsessed with everything in Japan. She met Sean, 42 years old, who is originally from Japan, via her Japanese Facebook page.
Victoria’s past experiences with love have been a bit rocky, and Sean is not completely honest from the start – he does not tell her about his age or that he was married previously, but maybe he wasn’t divorced when they met. It looks like this pair may be in for an uphill battle. She doesn’t know what he is doing for a living at the start of the dating show.
2. Kadie and Alejandro

Kadie, a 26-year-old nurse from West Yorkshire, and Alejandro, a 30-year-old fitness enthusiast from Mexico are two people who met on an international dating site in June 2021. They met on a dating website in June 2021, but have not met personally. This will change in the near future when Alejandro visits the UK to spend four weeks together with Kadie.
The pair may become an official couple depending on the outcome of the trip and if Kadie’s grandma likes him.
3. Shaun and Christine

Shaun (41), Hampshire, and Christine (42), The Philippines, met online in 2012. They have been involved in a long-distance relationship since then. Shaun and Christine share a child born in 2018, whom Shaun only has met three times.
Shaun also helps Christine financially support her three children, who are from previous relationships. Theoretically, with such a long relationship, it should be easy to stay in the same country.

Bridie (31) and Host (28) have been together for two years after they met online while playing a video game.
They had never met, but their friendship quickly grew into an intense long-distance relationship. The host said he’d never experienced such chemistry before. He wants to visit Bridie and her children in the UK but needs a visa.
5. Pat and Sam

These two seem to share a lot of things in common despite their age differences. Pat is from Merseyside, and Sam is originally from Pakistan.
Sam, a Christian, and nurse, sent Pat a friend request. He then told her that he felt for her. They were soon talking on the telephone, and Pat thought that their connection was a result of fate, even though they had never met.
6. Calum and Marvin

Calum, 28, hails from Perth in Scotland, and Marvin, 26 is from The Seychelles. Marvin met Calum accidentally while searching international Tinder. He made the first move and told him what a gorgeous Scot he thought he was.

7. Emma and Hossein

Emma, a single mother from West Yorkshire aged 44, met Hossein a 33-year-old Iranian six years ago via Instagram. They clicked immediately, even though they had different interests. She loves to go out with friends, and he is a bodybuilder who loves taking selfies.
8. Richard and Kathleen

Richard (41, Preston), was “fed up” with British women and met Kathleen (32, The Philippines) on a dating application.
The quiz host, who is in search of a housewife to take care of the home, is so in love with Kathleen that he even goes as far as visiting her and her family on their holiday to The Philippines. Richard is looking for someone to look after the house, but he has a bad track record when it comes to being faithful. This could put Kathleen off.
