The new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? features surprising adjustments for the franchise's most iconic couples. The honeymoon phase for the couples is clearly ended in the first teaser for the fresh new season, and it looks Angela and Michael are no longer even together.
In addition to Angela and Michael, the fan-favorite couples Big Ed and Liz, Jenny and Sumit, Jovi and Yara, Kim and Usman, and Elizabeth and Andrei are returning for the next season.
After undergoing multiple plastic surgery procedures and going through difficult times with Michael, who is 34 years old and appears to still be in Nigeria, the trailer that was released on Wednesday reveals that Angela, age 56, has a new man in her life, which comes as a shocking revelation. Michael, age 34.
Angela is seen video chatting with a man from Canada, whom she refers to as her "hot baby" and he refers to as her "angel." She then asks excitedly about visiting him in Canada, to which he answers with a wide smile.
"I've given Michael nothing but loyalty for five years," Angela tells the cameras. "But at this point, I have to do what I have to do for me."
Meanwhile, Big Ed, 56, and Liz, 29, are struggling following their engagement. The two have a heated argument, and Ed wonders if Liz is a lesbian. Ed's ex-girlfriend Rose, who dumped him, turned out to be bisexual as well.
"I'm sick of your deception," Ed says angrily to Liz. "She was literally all over you. Do you identify as a lesbian?"
Jenny, 63, and Sumit, 33, certainly did not address their problems by eventually getting married. In the teaser, the two had a yelling battle, and she complains about "taking all this abuse." Things get out of hand when she pushes him and begs him to leave her "forever."
