90 Day Fiancé fans are outraged by Emily and her controlling ways
Many are simply outraged with the how the reality television star treats her very nice husband.
In this week's episode, "Get Off Your High Horse," there was a lot of conflict among all 90 Day Fiancé couples . Bilal and Shaeeda argued over whether she was a sloppy houseguest or he was an annoying host with "OCD." Mohamed and Yve had a go because she is hesitant to convert her religion; and Patrick began to see red lights when it came to Thais' thoughts about the Dallas transfer and his brother. Despite this, nothing appeared to capture the attention of spectators more than Emily and Kobe's problems.
Emily has done a terrible job of winning over the audience since the beginning of the season. Many fans were irritated by her decision to postpone the long-awaited encounter between Kobe and his son Koban. These same 90 Day Fiance viewers dislike how she appears to obstruct Kobe's attempts to bond with Koban and dismisses his parenting thoughts at times.
Maybe the viewers would be more tolerant of her acts if they weren't delivered in such a condescending and disrespectful tone. The way she speaks to Kobe makes us wince and recall how Angela, a 90 Day Fiancé vet, responds to her husband Michael. (Okay, so she's not quite on Angela's level, but the fact that we can compare the two isn't a good thing.) With all of this in mind, viewers and Kobe did appeared to approach a breaking point with Emily during last night's program.
It all started when Kobe offered to help Emily's dad with some farm labor. Since he can legally work in the United States due to his immigration status, he wishes to feel as if he is contributing to the household. Therefore, he walks with Emily to the horse stables to see her mother, where he is charged with shoveling horse crap into a pail and taking it elsewhere to dump it.

Emily continuously criticizes him for the way he chooses to do the work from the outset. She has a lot to say about his technique and how much dung he scoops with each shovel dig. He eventually gets tired of her continual babbling and orders her to "shut the f*** up." She exits the stable and returns to the main house, feeling attacked.
Kobe returns to Emily after completing his work for the day, and the two attempt to discuss some of their concerns. Emily is able to obtain an apology from Kobe for the way he spoke to her, but she offers a lackluster apology to him. She makes no apologies for the unpleasant manner in which she communicates with Kobe, nor for the fact that she continuously criticizes everything he does as a form of control. She's "pushy," as Emily's mother describes her.
We can only hope that the rest of the season is one of redemption for Emily with the audience, because she's not winning any popularity contests at this point.
