"90 Day Fiancé" adventure of Kobe and Emily.
Emily , 29-year-old, during her time teaching English in Xi'an, China, Emily came across Kobe, a 34-year-old man. On a night out at a club, they struck up a conversation and quickly became friends. The pair got engaged towards the end of her stay in China.
Once Emily learned she was expecting Kobe's child, her world fell apart. Due to the expiration of her visa while in China, she was compelled to return to her hometown of Salina in the United States. After she departed, Kobe headed to Cameroon, Africa, to see his relatives.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Kobe missed the birth of his kid, despite having applied for a K-1 visa. After a two-year wait, the K-1 visa for Kobe was eventually granted.
Kobe met his 17-month-old kid for the first time on the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 9 .
The time is running out for Kobe and Emily to tie the knot before their K-1 visa expires.
Emily believes she is pregnant with another Kobe's child.
Emily delivers some concerning information to Kobe in the July 3rd episode regarding the potential of her being pregnant again. "I'm simply late like my period is late," she informs her fiancé. "Oh my God," exclaims Kobe, in shock.
Emily is still breastfeeding Kobe's kid, Koban, and the family is temporarily living with Emily's parents. Emily's father advises her earlier in season 9 that his one rule is that she not have another unwanted pregnancy.
Emily and Kobe head to a drugstore to obtain a pregnancy test in the promo for the next episode. "My dad just has one rule for us, and that is not to become pregnant," she tells the cameras.
Of course, Kobe, who is attempting to impress Emily's family, is concerned about the ramifications if Emily becomes pregnant. "I don't know how I'm going to face your family if you're pregnant," he adds.
Kobe and Emily blame each other for the pregnancy fear
They aren't ready for another kid, and neither of them wants to take on the responsibilities that would come with a future pregnancy.
Kobe is in denial. "No, you can't be pregnant," he says to Emily.
"Why can't I be pregnant?" Emily responds.
He maintains they took several "precautions" to ensure she did not get pregnant, but Emily disagrees.
"Precautions?" she asks. You're the one who told me you didn't want me to use birth control, Kobe."
"Not using birth control may certainly result in a birth," she claims.
During the interview, Emily asks Kobe, "What did I say, darling, when I told you I was going to take my birth control ?"
"What did you say?" "I declined," Kobe said. I'll explain why. I've seen ladies on birth control. It was quite tough when they were ready to conceive."
Kobe maintains he planned on using the "pull out" approach because Emily informed him it was OK since she wasn't ovulating.
Note : Pulling out is not a particularly effective method of preventing pregnancy. It works around 78 percent of the time, which implies that over the course of a year, 22 out of 100 women — or roughly one in every five — will get pregnant. Male condoms, on the other hand, are 98 percent effective when used properly every time.
The couple fights all the way to the drugstore, where they purchase pregnancy tests. To avoid questioning from Emily's family, they decide to do the tests at the drugstore.
It takes two to dance and, obviously, two to have a kid. If Kobe and Emily get pregnant, it will be difficult for him to re-enter her family's good graces. Will Emily and Kobe get married and have a child ?
Fans will have to wait until the end of 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 to find out what happens next for this pair.
