It's about to get strange once more for Ari and Bini from 90 Day Fiancé.
In an exclusive preview of Sunday's episode, the soon-to-be married couple is confronted with the idea of having a kid they did not intend to have. The suggestion Ari might be expecting comes from her ex-husband Leandro, who is visiting.
Ari mentions feeling ill before a planned dress shopping trip with Leandro, noting that she's "feeling weird" and not like herself.
"I'm feeling sick to my stomach, possibly nauseous," she adds.
"I'm going to ask maybe a too intrusive question — but when was the last time you had your period?" says Leandro.
Ari sinks her head in her arms and says, "Oh my God," after hearing his question.
Leandro immediately asks the pair if they've been trying to conceive, which immediately makes Bini uneasy. "It's not his business to ask me this question," he confesses.
Ari is adamant "I'm not pregnant. I'm not prepared to have another child."
Bini and Leandro then offer to purchase her a pregnancy test, which she gladly accepts with the following remark: "So, my future husband and ex-husband are going to buy me a pregnancy test. I suppose I'll simply go back to bed because I'm a failure at life."
There has been more than one cringe-worthy exchange between the two of them so far, which is unfortunate for them. Ari and Bini had to suffer through a tense meal with Ari's family last month, who had plenty of questions for Bini before the couple walked down the aisle.
Ari's mother and siblings drilled them on "who's paying the expenses," as Bini isn't allowed to work in the United States and Ari is unemployed.
""We have concerns about their long-term viability as a couple," Ari's father said, while her mother added, "She needs to find a job, too – first." Because he is not working. It's a little scary because it's not simple to survive without earning a living."
Bini revealed interest in MMA fighting when asked if he expected to stay in the United States for a time. "She knows I'm a romantic. Even if I don't end up with her, I want to be a UFC fighter and possibly win a championship. That's — I'm dreaming, "he stated.
"This disapproving silence is so brutally strong," Ari said after much back-and-forth between Bini and her family. "I think Bini's having a hard time communicating, which is extremely aggravating because that's what's led to so many of our disagreements in the past, and now this."
"Sometimes, I worry that I love Bini more than he loves me, or that he doesn't love as much as I do, and I wonder if we'll ever work out our trust and communication issues," she admitted.
As seen on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, the pair met while crossing the street in Ethiopia, his native country. Having learned that Bini was pregnant, Ari relocated there to be with her, before returning to the United States when their son, Avi, needed a medical procedure. After a failed attempt at a long-distance relationship in California, the two have decided to try again in New Jersey.
